The Diary Of A Young Girl by Anne Frank

Since Anne Frank's diary was mentioned on the cover of Escape Into Darkness I decided to read it. As soon as I finished with it I rushed into the library and took The Diary Of A Young Girl. It was amazing for me how this girl grew throughout that terrible time from being frivolous child to a young woman with a very bright mind (while still being a teenager). I feel very sorry she survived two years in such conditions to die when the war was nearly over. Such a waste, that was a really smart girl with great plans for her future.

Escape Into Darkness by Sonia Games - The true story of a young woman's extraordinary survival during World War II

I read this book by accident. Before I felt really scared of the books about World War II. When I found it in the corridor I decided to read it though. This was my first book of this kind. I loved it. The language is simple, the story is addictive. I literally swallawed the book withing few days. Sonia lived through this terrible period of her life and ended up in Arizona. Her story is finished with so called "happy end".
